Community First Foundation of Panama City, FL, is dedicated to fostering stronger, healthier communities by addressing food insecurity in our county, providing emergency services for those affected by disasters throughout the U.S., and supporting educational success overseas.
What we do
Local Partnerships
Our Food Pantry, open every Thursday, helps to provide groceries for struggling individuals or families. We serve ~345 family members per month.
Our Community Breakfast program provides a warm breakfast each Saturday for the marginalized/homeless in our community. We serve 70-80 guests per week.
We provide free haircuts twice a month to 10-15 guests.
Shower facilities are provided weekly to 15-20 guests. We provide new underwear and t-shirts for each guest who uses our showers.
Our Clothes Closet is open twice a month for those in need of affordable clothing for themselves or their family. We serve 30-40 guests/month.
Our School Programs provide food for weekend meals to Cherry Street Elementary, Parker Elementary, Bay High School, St Andrews Bay STEM Academy, & New Horizons Learning Academy. 125 backpacks are given weekly to students who may not have enough food for the weekend.
What we do
National Partnerships
In 2025, we will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity in constructing new homes right here in Panama City, Florida.We respond to disasters by bringing disaster relief supplies, food, tools, etc. In addition, we send work teams to the affected communities to help restore and rebuild these communities.
What we do
International Partnerships
We have partnered with Morningstar School/Orphanage in Mutungo, Uganda, and Golden Eagle Christian Bilingual School in Sula Santa Bárbara, Honduras. We regularly send teams to educate/train teachers and assist with the construction of the school and people in these communities. In addition, we partner with medical team missions providing medical assistance in the Santa Bárbara area as well.
These projects have provided the opportunities to share the love of Christ with the children and adults in these communities.
